House of Fisher provides stylish and spacious serviced apartments to the corporate and leisure markets within the Thames Valley. With a portfolio of 200 serviced apartments based in central locations they offer both short and long term stay options.
Caboodle Design were invited to tender for a new House of Fisher website and to provide a detailed proposal.
The old House of Fisher website looked very old fashioned, it was dated in its content, style and technology. It lacked any real brand style, looked cold and clinical, rather than reflecting any degree of warmth or comfort. The website was also very confusing to navigate, there were ‘dead ends’ and areas of the site were easily missed. The site lacked content – there was no clear communication on who House of Fisher is and what it does. The site also wasn’t fully mobile optimised or accessible on all devices so some users didn’t get the full experience. The website needed a complete overhaul – both from a visual and content point of view.

Website Design & Development
A fresh, modern, dynamic website was created for House of Fisher.
We introduced an additional brand colour to brighten up the site. This teal colour balanced their brand colours of yellow and grey perfectly and helped to draw the eye to specific information on each page. Far larger hero images were used that showcased their extensive range of serviced apartments. Multiple image and video galleries were also added illustrating the facilities on offer.
The website structure was simplified and clear calls to action were added throughout, helping to direct the user to the information they required. We added in clear unique selling points (USPs) to key pages of the site so people could see at a glance why the they should choose House of Fisher.
The site was also responsive so catered for all their visitors no matter what device they were viewing the website on. A 3rd party booking system was integrated in to the site allowing users the ability to make a booking swiftly and securely.
The new dynamic House of Fisher website helps to communicate their brand values and showcase their portfolio of serviced apartments, all with the aim to entice new customers and to drive more direct bookings.
The fresh, modern website style and new brand colour was also extended across the House of Fisher range of property brochures. These brochures also used location maps with key points pinned on them along with facility icons, floorplans and additional images providing an overview on each apartment.
